What is Musculoskeletal Therapy?

Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST) is a hands on therapy working holistically to identify, treat and manage musculoskeletal pain or injury in any region of the body.

Thorough physical examination including functional and neurological testing establish the cause of the pain and dysfunction enabling a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation plan which address that cause, not simply relieve symptoms.

Musculoskeletal Therapists employ a range of techniques such as joint and neural mobilizations, dry needling, muscle energy technique and soft tissue release to provide greater range of movement and reduction of pain more efficiently than experienced through traditional massage therapy. Postural retraining, nutritional methods and exercise prescription are also utilised to prolong effects of the treatment and to help keep you free from pain
